Cancellation policy

Nothing is owed and nothing is charged. A request that has not been approved can be withdrawn at any time by telling us.

Your dates are held for the period stated in the approval. If you decide not to go ahead, tell us and we will release them. Nothing is charged.

If the hold lapses without payment the dates are released automatically.

Cancel more than 30 days before check-in and we refund everything you have paid, less any bank or gateway charge we cannot recover.

Cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in and we refund half.

Cancel within 14 days of check-in and the booking is not refundable, because at that notice the nights are unlikely to be sold again. If we do manage to re-let them, we will refund what we recover.

The cleaning fee is refunded in full in every case where the stay does not happen.

We would rather move a booking than lose it. If you ask more than 14 days before check-in and the new dates are free, we will move you and charge only the difference in rate. This is at our discretion and is not a right.

If Estate-Vest cancels a confirmed booking for any reason, you get every rand back, without deduction, and we will help you find something else where we can.

This applies whether the reason is maintenance, damage, a double booking, or anything else on our side.

If a stay cannot happen because of something neither party controls — a natural disaster, a government restriction, or the property becoming genuinely uninhabitable — we refund what you have paid for the nights that cannot be used.

Reply to your confirmation email or use the contact form, quoting your booking reference. A cancellation takes effect from when we receive it, not from when you decided.
